  Board a boat and cruise out to Samadai ‘Dolphin House’ where dozens of spinner dolphins have made their home in this crescent shaped reef with its shallow, protected cove. Don your snorkelling gear and slide into the sea. Put your head beneath the water and listen; you should hear the unique sounds of dolphins before you see them. These friendly creatures can leap into the air, spinning many times before entering the water again. They maximise the effect by landing with a belly or back-flop creating a special sound which informs fellow dolphins of their location. Spinning may also serve as a courtship display or possibly to eject trapped water from respiratory tracts. Of course it could simply be just for fun.
